I’m sure you know that our mood and behavior is influenced a lot (at least for us, the women) by the clothes we’re wearing during the day. We can feel beautiful, or not, powerful and courageous, sad or happy. I’m not saying that clothes are the main reason for us to feel depressed, even if I found myself many times in my wardrobe, almost in tears because, “ I don’t have what to wear, today!”
How many times you said that, or am I the only one, around here?
An outfit can intimidate the other persons or just make you approachable. Think about a punker, would you go asking him the time, or in those seconds, going toward him, your eyes search desperately for a “normal” person around him to save you?
So we’re good here, right?
Everybody agree that wearing clothes is not just something superficial? Whoever has something else to say just raise your hand and speak! Whatever opinion you have is good, as long as you have one.
Clothes send a message to the others, and most important to the person in the mirror. And it’s up to you what message you want to send. It’s up to you how you want to feel that day. Just remember that there is always a “weapon” for you out there, ready to help you.
Use it wisely!
In this photo shooting I chose a casual business look. I don’t need to stay in an office, so I don’t have a written dress code. If your work is related to an institution, just use a longer skirt and put your blouse in! There is nothing wrong using a leather skirt to the office, but the length must be appropriate.
Until next time, be creative!
I was wearing:
